Privacy-first developer utilities
These terms (the “Terms”) govern your use of DevWorkBench. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What this is
DevWorkBench provides free online developer utilities ("the Tools"). The Tools run entirely inside your web browser; content you paste, convert or generate is not transmitted to our servers and is not stored by us.
2. Use of the Tools
You may use the Tools for personal, educational and commercial purposes free of charge. You agree not to use the Tools to store, process or transmit unlawful material, and not to abuse, overload or mine the site.
The Tools are provided for convenience and are not a substitute for professional judgement. Verify any output that affects important work — a locally computed hash or conversion is only as good as its input.
3. Intellectual property
The Tools, their code and the site design are the property of their respective authors and are provided for your use, not for resale or redistribution. All rights are reserved. You keep full ownership of anything you create with the Tools.
4. No warranties
The Tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee results are bug-free.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the site nor its maintainers shall be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Tools or any output they produce.
6. Advertising, analytics and cookies
The Tools themselves set no cookies and need no consent to function. The site may offer optional Google Analytics and advertising by Google AdSense; those third-party services only run if you accept them, and they process data in accordance with their own policies. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, consent is collected through Google's certified consent platform (Privacy & messaging) in line with the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" control in the footer or on the privacy page.
7. Changes
We may update these terms or remove, modify or add Tools at any time. Significant changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
